Holi

🌈 Where It All Began – A Holi That Changed My Perspective 🌈

Last year on Holi, we began with a small celebration for the industrial workers in our township — distributing colors, water guns, and small festive items. The only intention was simple: to bring smiles.

Later, someone suggested visiting the nearby municipal government school. We went there with the same thought — just to spread happiness.

That day, while distributing water guns, one child softly said,

"No one gives us that kind of childhood."

That sentence stayed with me.

It made me realize that beyond celebration, what these children truly need is strength — physical strength, awareness, and opportunities to grow healthy.

I may not be able to feed every child every day.

But I can begin somewhere.

That was the turning point — from celebration to nutrition awareness.

Often, when we donate on birthdays, anniversaries, or festivals, we give chocolates, chips, biscuits, or instant noodles — things that fill the stomach but not the body with real nutrition. These are easily available and cheap, but they do not build strong bones, strong immunity, or strong futures.

So I decided to start small —

To encourage celebrating special moments by giving nutritious food instead of junk,

To teach children about the value of balanced meals,

And to gently create awareness in society that charity can nourish, not just satisfy.

My purpose is simple —

If we cannot change everything, we can still strengthen someone.

And if a few children grow into healthy, strong human beings because of this effort, that will be enough.

Small initiative.

Big intention. 💛
