Where Hope Begins
The Tiffin Project
WELCOME TO THE TIFFIN PROJECT
Food Growth HopeWe believe that every child deserves a healthy start in life. Through simple, nourishing snacks and strong community partnerships, we're working to fight childhood malnutrition—one tiffin at a time. Whether you're a parent, a volunteer, or a supporter, we're glad you're here. Together, we can nourish futures and build stronger, healthier communities.
OUR MISSION
The Tiffin Project aims to nourish young lives by ensuring every child aged 2 to 6 receives the nutrition they need to grow, thrive, and dream. In partnership with local anganwadi centers, we provide protein-rich snacks, monitor growth, and empower families through simple, visual education—building a stronger, healthier future from the ground up.
OUR VISION
Our vision is a future where no child suffers from malnutrition, and every family—no matter how remote or underserved—has the knowledge and support to raise healthy, thriving children. The Tiffin Project envisions a world where nutrition is a right, not a privilege.

KNOW THE FOUNDER
Hi! My name is Mayan Raika, and I'm a student of Jayshree Periwal International School in Jaipur, currently in 11th grade. I've always been someone who enjoys logical thinking — whether it's solving a tricky math problem, cracking a puzzle, or just finding a smarter way to do everyday things.
WHY IT MATTERS
Malnutrition isn't just about hunger—it's about a child's ability to grow, learn, and thrive. In Chhattisgarh, where nearly 1 in 3 children under five is underweight and over 34% are stunted, the effects of poor nutrition are lifelong. It limits brain development, weakens immunity, and reduces school performance—locking children and their families into a cycle of poverty and poor health.
For children aged 2 to 6, these are the foundation years—a time when the body and brain grow rapidly. If children do not receive the nutrients they need during this critical window, the consequences are often irreversible.
JOIN US
At The Tiffin Project, we believe that it takes a village to raise a child—and a community to nourish one. Whether you're a student, a teacher, a health worker, or simply someone who cares, there's a place for you in our mission.
